A Night Of Celebration; A Night of Success!

Over 250 friends of TGMF were in the mood to celebrate on November 22nd, and gathered together for an evening of toasts, bids, dining, and laughter all to honor the opening of Tim’s House and another year of funding programs making a real difference in our communities. Stacey Redman, founder of TGMF and mother of Tim Griffith, opened the program by thanking everyone for their generous support of the foundation during difficult economic times. She reminded us all that organizations who benefit those experiencing personal hardship, need our help more than ever before. And the TGMF friends responded by generously raising more than $60,000 that evening alone. Here are highlights of the celebrations and the evening’s events:

**Celebrating the opening of Tim’s House in October with a $50,000 donation, an annual commitment of TGMF
**Celebrating the continued support of Pets In Need, Service League of San Mateo County, Omega Boys Club, KARA, and Redwood City Outdoor Education Foundation
**Honoring the memory of Trevor Perry with the establishment of an annual sponsorship of KARA’s Camp Erin
**Honoring this year recipients of the Nancy Harris Volunteer of the Year Award: Randy Polk and Rebecca Cunningham
**Exceptional volunteer services of Eric Snyder as master of ceremonies and Steve Bowerman and Mike Nevin as auctioneers

Stacey gave thanks to many people who made the evening possible, including the TGMF working board of directors and friends of the foundation who donate their talent and time to the event, teams of volunteers from San Jose State University PIKEs fraternity, and Bridges program of San Mateo County. A special thank you was given to Derek Ytreeide and his team from Riverview Systems Inc. who turned the San Mateo Elk’s lodge into a nightclub atmosphere with amazing lighting, staging, and audio/visual effects.

Thank you to all of our generous donors, as we head into the holiday season, let’s continue the celebration of our good fortune and a year of sharing with others.
